In this vlog I am exploring Colombia's Coffee region: Salento, the Cocora valley, Filandia and more! This region of Colombia is so beautiful - probably one of my favorite places in all of the places I visited in Colombia and really made me felt as if i was in the real life movie of Encanto :')

Did you happen to make it to Manizales ? We are in search of our favorite cool weather retirement city and think Manizales May check all of our boxes. Armenia, I believe, is a bit warmer…

Sadly no I didn't! Only Salento and Filandia in this area! I did fly into Armenia from Bogota though and ended up accidentally in the centre of town there... i didn't really like it from first impressions but don't really know as I was only there briefly! Manizales might be a bit prettier from what I've heard :) it is a beautiful region though and there is so much nature around! The weather in salento was sunny most mornings and rainy in the afternoons in January - I think it'll be similar in both Armenia and manizales

Valley de cauca and Cocora valley both are same ?

I think these are 2 different things. Valle de cocora and Cocora valley are they same thing but I think Valle de cauca is another place!

Valle del cauca is a department/state of Colombia close to the pacific south area. Cocora valley is a turistic place in the coffee region of Colombia in a different department/state. Both incredibly beautiful!
