We did a Pune-Bandipur-Coorg-Bhadra-Murdeshwar-Pune bike ride last month and had an amazing experience. A few highlights - - Beautiful roads (makkhan ekdum) - Very helpful locals. A few went out of their way to help us even though we couldn’t understand each others’ language.

Super 👌 Maybe tu aata (hya post pandemic period madhe) gelas, so u didn't get that elephant-bathing experience at Dubbare. I had been there in 2016 & it was fun! Elephant bathing & many other fun activities were there. We were actually allowed to touch the elephants, give them a bath n all!😊

Mandalpatti should be visited very early in the morning, around 5.30 you should be in the off-roading car. The view of clouds surrounding hills n u look at them just from the top is beyond beautiful. Mandalpatti is quintessentially beautiful. Even at Dubare, they would let you wash elephants, play with them but you need to pay for that. Coorg is indeed very beautiful, even Madikeri city view in the early morning is breathtaking.
