@@skipstream2 That's good to know. As someone who owns K13 Collector's it's one of the only NI instruments I don't own, and I essentially refuse to buy non-NKS plug-ins that don't support MPE as I use Embodme's EraeTouch, Roli, AromSQ, KMI's QuNeo and SoftStep 2, and Artiphon's Instrument 1 and Orba

@@Iredidv native kontrol standard - you have all parameters pre mapped in rows of 8 encoders, you can browse all presets easily also from different instruments at once, really cool to have, let's say you search for a bass sound, you then get bass sounds from all instruments you own with nks

These are probably some of the best VSTs out there. It is just a shame about the CPU usage, even with an i9 9990k @ 4GHz I get upto 50% usage with just one Cycles preset.

Great instruments. I own auras and cycles and love them both. If only slate and ash optímized Cycles’s cpu usage it would make it usable. It destroys my m1 pro processor when trying to play polyphonic patches. And yes I can increase buffer size but with such a powerful cpu it does not make sense.
@christopherdonnelly61542 жыл бұрын

How many cpu cores do you have on your M1 Pro? Thinking about getting the new m2 pro Mac mini. Thanks
@SilentAssassin01234 Жыл бұрын
@@TheRickymakI have a 16 core I9 9990k and even that gets ranked really. CPU usage can get as high as 50% with just one pattern. I think for now, until equipment gets better, it would be best to use this to create loops and freeze them to save cpu usage.

@@stackerman2800 I have 32gig m1 pro and cycles breaks it in 128 buffer size for a polyphonic patch. Performance is subpar. Great plug-in but very power hungry. In order to play chords I have to increase buffer size a fair bit.

It is a 16n Faderbank, which is an open source project, with kits available. The one in the video is available to purchase pre-built from Slate+Ash it seems.

Str8 up ! You can buy a entirely new Maschine Controller or a physical synth at that price ! What are they smoking at Native Instruments! ?
@R0bstar-YT2 жыл бұрын
@@simcard4296 Number one, those are Slate + Ash prices, this it not a NI product, they simply use Kontakt as the sample engine. Number two, Landforms is over 400 bucks on its own, has a wealth of excellently sampled orchestral instruments across a large number of articulations, and it represents the bulk of the price. Landforms can easily take the place of a traditional orchestral library of its scope for a non-traditional approach to scoring.
