You have to admire the builders. Perfectly straight walls, nice sharp 90 degree corners, and you can see they once had slate floors as well. These buildings are begging to be restored.

Dry stack is my favorite stone "look". I imagine in their day these walls would have been sealed with plaster or something similar and whitewashed. Ruins of old industry. Not all brick and concrete like most

I'll be honest mate I'm not sure we come out of port Merrion and pit in Google maps waterfalls near us and this place came up it looks like an old slate quarry but have no idea where it was sorry

Not 100% sure mate but I think it was somewhere for the slate workers to rest and eat during there time in the quarry
