So much to see in Ecuador! The abundantes giving back to our adopted country, Ecuador, by pumping up the tourism. As of yet its unspoiled and very affordable...the mainland anyhow. So come on down and escape next winter. In time, for me, it has become home. The life up north is untenable anymore. Here....its like it was designed for my ultimate years. Midlife people like Carl and family thrive here too. Expat kids grow up with a unique perspective that will serve them in life. Thank God for Ecuador.

What a beautiful place and, definitely a place to visit... If I can leave again when I've arrived.. Definitely looks like one of those places I'll hate to have to leave again.... My list keep growing and I can't wait... Thanks a lot for sharing 💕❤️💕

_Hello from Peru. Machalilla NP es so beautiful. The place is very well organized and very clean. But why not so many visitors ? I mean local people visiting their own beauties ? Here we have promoted the local tourism since 20 years ago. Something else should be done inside Ecuador to promote local visitors supporting their own beauties. We have several National Parks in the Ocean like Paracas National Reserve and Ballestas Islands, visited by 430k visitors during 2023 being 10% from abroad_

Off topic, but concerning yellow fever, there is a high risk if over 60 and administered the vaccination. What do retirees do? Thanks Roger

Hi Roger - everybody needs to make their own decisions about personal health and what that looks like. For what it’s worth, we don’t know anybody that has been diagnosed with Yellow fever. Thanks for watching! ❤️ 🙏

I am in Vilca and yellow fever isn't on the list of concerns at all. In Maine I worry about ticks...or did until I started on garlic. Here very few bugs and endemic illness. The grapevine of expats reacts to a pin drop....so I'd have heard something if it were a problem.
