❤ GR8 VID ❤ LOVED IT ❤ When I was in the UK in 1979 and 1999 I only went to London, saw Shakespeare's house in Strafford, and drove out to and thru the tunnel to France. This video made me want to spent 2 to 4 months going all over the UK. I missed so much. The tree shot from the Robinhood movie was priceless ❤

Northumberland is an amazing place but sshhh don't tell anyone - they say come here for some peace and quiet. The 'little mountain river' ches mentioned is actually the river tyne quite near its source! If you'd continued over the footbridge it's a great circular walk back to the car park. Glad you enjoyed it so much hope you loved the beaches and castles too x

Hi Chesca Ben& River ,great blog just loved the places you have taken me as I lost a leg in a accident at work I can not do the walking so people like you show me the places I cannot go it’s fantastic thank you ,poor dog got really scared on the bridge but you got him of ok main thing,I hired a motorhome in June and spent 10 touring west cost of Scotland and isle of sky absolutely fantastic but no walking lol .how long have you been doing this ,it’s a beautiful way of life I think did you do a lot of planning for your trip or was you like me they went out of the window lol ,am I right in saying river is the dog name, well till next time take care keep safe, John 🇬🇧🌹👀🥂🌈😂🦮🦮

Thank you for showing me around Northumberland, it was amazing and unexpectedly stunning. I say that because, for some unknown reason, I thought Northumberland would be industrial and uninteresting....how wrong was I !!!!! I've been planning on going up to Northumberland for a while now. Mainly to check out that 'Angel of the North' statue as well as one or two other places. You do have this habit of finding some great locations. 😁 I'm not so sure that our Motorhome would go on some of those roads though. Look a bit narrow with not much passing spaces. Beautiful we did only two day there but so going back . Get river Julian k9 harness. Our lady will sometimes get scared of big bang and try to get away . She has never got out of that harness. And it's has a handle to grab them on top . For any reason. . .Oh and the rock markings we saw these on a walk near Gatehouse of fleet Scotland. And our lady did not half freak out at the rock. It could have been something hiding underneath it but she was going mad at it . 🤔

The most beautiful road? That part of England has a lot of beautiful roads. I feel so fortunate to have driven cross country between the Gretna Green area to the east coast on B roads and gravel tracks many times. I've often commented it is worth paying road tax just to drive through the stunning scenery. We have a very capable 4x4 so unmade roads are no problem. It is worth spending several weeks to appreciate the area. So why the hurry? Is it that your big plans are urgent?

I've been catching up since the start of your videos and this is probably the best to date. I enjoyed the van build series, but this was a little bit of escapism. Your editing and use have music have really come on. Although it wasn't until Ben said "Chesca didn't like it either, that I realised when Ben was talking about her "panicking and edging backwards and he had to pin her down", that he was talking about River! 🤦

Hi Guys, 😂 nice to see River so excited to be out, the scenery looks amazing, can’t wait to go have an explore up there one day, the rock and carvings are an interesting find. I love the way you know what plants are what and what you can eat.. “get the kettle on” 👍 ☕️. When I have chance to cook I never have leftovers either! I always scoff everything lol. The evening rock could be a sign from ancient times. Those big washing machines are cool, I used them when I did car camping in 2005, was in the car for a year. The view from the Viaduct are astonishing!! The drone footage captures the scenery so well! 👌👍. I don’t have a fear of heights but I can I understand if some do and im happy that you saved River, even if you had to conquer your own fears. Will add the Great Wall of England to my list.. liked the forest 🌳 of spooky 👻 too. That’s nice that there’s a forest drive to take a look at, will definitely add it to my list. Hope you have a good week guys. 👍

Haha we should be sponsored by PG Tips 😂Couldn't recommend the forest drive enough, was definitely one of our favourite things we did while we were there! So glad you enjoyed this one Mark, hope you have a lovely week! Sending lots of love xx 💛

Can I ask what you are doing with river when you venture to Africa is she going with you or are leaving her with someone? It will be so hot for her. Love your videos can’t wait for the next one xx

Hey Tina! We will be taking her, there's no way we could leave her behind. We had the air-con fitted for that exact reason. Her comfort is our priority! If it means driving at 7am to avoid the heat of the day that's what we'll do 😊 And thank you for the kind words! That means so much 💛I hope you enjoy the next one - there's a few more beaches and sunshine in that one! xx

No judgement here! That sounds delicious! I actually think sorrel is a really lovely taste, kind of lemony! 🍋

Have been exploring here the past three weeks in my van… Kielder Forest, Hadrian’s Wall and the coast is soooo stunning. I’m definitely heading back again during my road trip. I ended up in Scotland too for 2 nights park up! Loved how the Forestry commission there allow overnight parking 💕

Sounds like you've done exactly the same trip as us Emma! I'm surprised we haven't bumped into you! Wish the English forestry commission did something similar, it would ease up the pressure on so many beauty spots. Hope you've been enjoying this weather as much as us! 🌞xx
