Exploring FIRING KILNS in STOKE ON TRENT (Built 1796) - Abandoned Places UK
I passed this place on the way to another Abandoned Factory so just had to have a quick look around.
The Pottery Kilns were built in 1796 for Chetham & Wooley Potteries.
The Chimneys are called Bottle Kilns namely because they are in the shape of bottle tops.
These would have fed the main firing ovens which were at the base of the huge Chimneys, and you will see just how big these are when you see me stood inside them.

It did get restored at 1 point then it got broken in to again. There is a derelict Pottery Works next to it as well which we also explored. Thanks for watching 😀
