Very nice walk alongside the paths round the fort ,but??? where's the fort.I lived across the road from the football pitch by Morley chapel and dug ,played crept along passages was alone for ages in the sunken citadel with loads of (still there )German artifacts a tad mangled after US bombing,s loads of places buried now ,sadly in summer 1961 as a boy of ten a sad sad day indeed ,then all built over!! , could find the location of MANY buried things including the odd tibia or toe bone💀 !!but all mostly three, four ?metres under dwellings.video has just reminded me,what a vast amount of structures buildings are forgotten there.think will do some sketches of the fort itself with mantle of gorse completely covering the star structure ,was very spooky falling😳 into that some five ,six yards. Example a bit battered after June 1944 bombing but theres a black German staff car still there.watched three ,four??(tis a while back )bulldozers pouring hardcore down on top of sadly !! what was a very secret playground .

Levi Joe Garnham if you like but am going to sketch load of those places and what WAS there ,as I said do remember as a horror of 9,10 what' I saw the structure of that building was magnificent apart from the bunkers built there and around ,and must stress NOT on maps in the library s especially in town, the Germans did not record everything they built for obvious reasons,I found when checking places some thirty years after.
