Another good episode. The reaearch into the combat mechanics definitely showing and paying off. The story is a bit thin on the ground in the early stages, but naturally it picks up as you progess. Just in case it feels abit... well, thin on the ground.

I was never a great shot, so I focused (no pun intended) on Sharpshot Bow (the long range sniper bow), the Tripcaster with blast wires (laying down multiple wires), and stealth. Some people may consider that boring and "not brave", but whatever gets the job done. 😁

So you've met your first flying machine! They are, indeed, a pain in the ass until you get the hang of it. Don't worry, it was the same for everyone. Handy tip for the next time you meet one: the Ropecaster is your best friend against flying machines. Snag em, lash em to the ground, and go nuts on them. Yeah, it's yet one more thing to think about in a combat system you're still learning, but it really is a life saver.

you may want to try using more 'concentration' while aiming, it's a main mechanic of the game and makes your life /way/ easier :)

Hi Yebba! I see you found your first vantage! They are a great look into the past! When you go into your notebook and the collectables, you can click on the vantage point in there to read more text about what that man is saying. You get MUCH more about it than just the little audio log. All 12 put together tell an interesting, somber story. 46:40 I have seen a concert here...awesome place.

very well done. fun episode to watch. seems your getting comfortable with your skill in combat. if you go into your menu and tab over to the notebook, there you'll find a pretty data base of machines you've scanned with very helpful information with tips on an approach to fighting machines. for example next time you run into a pack of grazers, shoot the blaze cannisters on their back with a fire arrow (maybe more than 1 grazer) and just sit back and watch!!

Looks like you're definitely getting the hang of the combat system. You might not have realized this, but the training grounds keeper at Valleymeet is the brother of the second cousin of Crazy Myrna's grandpa from Fallout 4. 😁

Nice, you got the stealth armour. Its my fave in the early parts of HZD 😁

Nice to see how you dealt with the three camps and how you tried different methods of attack. I went through Zero Dawn for about 4 or 5 times but I have to admit, I discovered the advantages of stealth fight very late. To be honest, it was just in Horizon Forbidden West. 😂

The one's lit up in the armor cave can be set, the one's not lit up require power cells from all over the map. Worth it though - the armor is powerful.

Non-spoiler Recommendation: For machines that you cannot ambush so quickly, it's a good idea to invest in high-tear weapons... Then targeting the machine's weapons from cover as your first attacks until you've either destroyed the weapon or removed it. Cannot wait to see you take on a [redacted]!

Sorry to hear you're having difficulty easing into the combat system. I've never played myself so I'm unable to offer advice, but I bet you'll get it. "Did I go a little too high? I think I did... I'm a little tall." Welcome to what my pal Sam de Leve calls "extreme verticality" a leading cause of death among Aloys. Do be careful, but not too careful. Heights can contain secrets and lore and collectables. Hey look at that metal flower. I love the design of those. I wonder if they're for sale somewhere? Hey, no need to apologize to those NPC's you got killed... apologize to those NPC's you personally beat up because they were wearing a hood. ;) But honestly, even with the sloppiness, you did well.

I heard the same issues. The Combat on PC is more struggling then on the PS4. It wasn't optimised for PC when they ported it from PS4 -> PC. It is still an awesome game. The best armor of the game is a side quest by the way. Search for the 5 power cell quest. (No, it aint Jak and Daxter😂😂😂).

Brienne of Tarth was an honorable knight who never wavered. Definitely a favorable comparison.

Its better than being compared to Cersei or any Targaryen 😇

For GoT comparison, I'd say Lady Marmont (Bella Ramsey).

Sorry to say it but you won't enjoy the 2nd game with your phobia 😢 there are entire sections of the game that are underwater where you have to swim and avoid aquatic machines... or you can be brave and let it help you conquer your fears! You can do it you're stronger than you think you are! The game of thrones character comparison is a positive; Brienne is quite the honorable and genuinely good hearted person.
