19km from Kohima and you can visit there with taxi and some other vehicles

@@megrashnarleng in fact, I came from Kohima with a cab paying the Hornbill Festival time rate. I had done my research, but the cab guy the night prior tried to overprice me. I called a traffic co who spoke to the cabbie, and I got the rate that was standard for the season. I reached Kohima quite early, an hour before the Tourism centre could open. I would suggest Hill View Homestay as a good place to stay overnight.
