The story goes that a little girl was in a hit and run accident that caused her young life near the Miramar tunnel. Ever since then, it is said that this little girl haunts the deep ends of the tunnel where several people have said that you can clearly hear whispers throughout the entrance of the tunnel and the young girl say "mommy" or sometimes hear her yell. You can also hear a woman screaming bloody murder, that will have people running out of the tunnel itself. Some say that it was held as a sacrificial tunnel formed by a cult group of people. Another account of miramar tunnel is that another young girl was also a victim of a hit and run accident that was caused by another drunk driver and struck the girl, causing her to die. Another story goes that a young couple were hit near the tunnel, luckily the boy survived, but his girlfriend did not. It is said the Miramar tunnel is the most haunted tunnel around. Honestly, after that loud bang (which sounded like someone slamming their foot on the ground on purpose) I came to the conclusion that their was a couple other people (Small group, like 3 or so) that went down to explore the tunnels and heard them from behind and went quiet every so often. Which would explain the whispering. The bang was probably just them messing around and trying to scare them to be funny. With them being quiet, they can clearly know these guys are a little afraid. 😂

That’s possible. Like they were being followed even though the group behind them (sam, Colby etc) was friendly they of course didn’t know that so they kept quit and walked quickly but every so often would mess around or try to scare whoever was behind them.

Those bangs were car tires going over the manholes throughout the tunnels. We have plenty of tunnels like this here in Vegas, and Ive heard that sound several times from car tires hitting the manhole covers.
