I visited the fort about four years ago. I experienced nothing that was paranormal. I just thought it was sad that the Fort had not been taken care of. Not far from there (you probably drove right by it), there are the ruins of an old church made out of tabby. It’s called “The Chapel of Ease”. it has a very small cemetery and it’s supposed to be very haunted. I experienced nothing there paranormal either. I just found it to be a very peaceful place.

Why isn't the Fort preserved? It's still history so why not take care of it? The hallways on the Fort are so dark! How did anyone see down there. Stoney Barnard is pretty and I can't believe that the outskirts are just regular homes. Glad that the property is being taken care of. Love visiting haunted places!!!!
