We saw so many restaurants open still. That is one thing we miss from when we were previously in South East Asia. You can get delicious food anytime of day all over the place.” I could not describe better what Allison said. One thing about Europe that cannot compete against Asia is this. Face the facts folks we in U.K. & Europe have not this vibrant 24hr vibe like the Far East or even Dubai! I should know I was born in the UK but travelled extensively in Asia. No daily street food, no late night shopping. No delicious snacks at very reasonable prices. You want a snack in the middle of the night here, go look forward to McDs, KFC, Burger King, and your chip shop! There is just something so tropical, exotic, vibrant about the Far East. I implore you all to visit. Never mind the usual joints of a week or two in Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus France etc. Go somewhere a bit more adventurous. A bit more far out. Eric & Alisson on the way out of Thailand after only spending a short time there said “It was really sad because: I gotta be honest with you guys we’ve grown very very fond of Thailand, we’ve really enjoyed it. Maybe the most different country we’ve ever encountered and then by the end we were like it feels like home” They didn’t say these kind of words about Europe. 😂 Come you guys forget Europe & go long haul. Ps America is fabulous place as well!

You should have done the Dark Cave at Batu Caves. You have to pay, but you're taken on a guided tour wearing helmets, and it's really interesting.

It took us 5 days to let go of emotional attachments to our homes, schools, jobs, apt.s family, friends and be ready to make new lives for ourselves wherever. They just become less impt while life remains the same, bosses/teachers are gone and adventures survive! 5 days! A new life...tho missing pets (kids if we had any and parents at holidays and if we or they got sick). Otherwise, we wanted open air adventures, meeting special people like a lady ranger who knew all the legends and history of Yosemite. Even our oldest friend who had not left the SFV for a decade, so strong was his agoraphobia, ended up being our shaman/healer, eventually moving to Kuai, then NYC, falling in love...he blossomed into a true adventurer.

hahah as a local missing KTM train is one of the worst thing that can happen because you know, 45mins and all. Sometimes some of the stations are closed due to flooding. It's equally frustrating to watch someone miss the train lol luckily it's a false alarm
