TOM! I live in Iceland and many tourists get some things wrong. The “beer” as you called it in the supermarkets isnt really beer. We have liqour stores for the “real” stuff. Called Vínbúðin (winestore). Tap water is drinkable. I hope youll see this.

Basically he wears a watch that you can call, he has an SOS button on that speedials a carer, you have an app on your phone that you can GPS track him 24/7 and can also set a parameter that if he leaves you are notified. Hey tom in the store the balls are called ástarpúngur (love balls) and the longe thing is a kleina ( twisted doughnuts) and the big thing is snúður, and enjoy the beautiful East of iceland

Tom, If you get the chance, go to the north east of Reykjavic, there is a hike to a waterfall called "Glymur" It's a 30-45 minutes hike up to the waterfall, in beatiful Icelandic nature. I would highly recommend it. have fun in Iceland!

I went to that waterfall and nearly went to that plane. Iceland is an incredible country though I must say I enjoyed visiting it in Easter when there was at least some time with no daylight

Hi Tom, I remember going to Iceland with school in Y11 on an ‘educational trip’ (most work we did was getting out of bed in the morning 😂) But I remember going to all the sites you’ve been too and it being absolutely amazing everywhere we went.
