In this video, we’re taking you on a road trip across the province of Aceh in Sumatra, Indonesia.
We’ll be trying the local food, learning about the famous Gayo coffee, and driving on some of the wildest roads we’ve seen in Sumatra.
We’re starting our trip from Blangkejeren, and we’ll be making the 550 km drive to Banda Aceh.
So join us on this chapter of our journey, as we drive our motorbikes from Jakarta to Sabang, across the 6th largest island in the world Sumatra, Indonesia.

Welcome to Aceh guys. Don't worry about riding on our roads. It's one of the safest roads in the country, and hopefully less potholes :) Meulaboh - Banda Aceh highway is the best in Indonesia, right? It's wide and smooth, and most importantly no speed limit haha. Ah, I forgot to mention, beware of cows on Aceh's roads as they are everywhere (btw they don't speak English or Bahasa, just Acehnese language lol). Make sure you make your way to Pulau Weh and get to Nol Kilometer to officially say you have conquered Indonesia :)

we Call Sanger Coffee. Sanger is SAMA SAMA NGERTI. The sanger started when a number of students in 1996 wanted to drink milk coffee. Because the economic conditions were bad at that time, students brainstormed so that they could still drink coffee mixed with milk. Then the idea was born with the name "sama-sama ngerti" which was shortened to sanger. So that students could still enjoy affordable milk coffee, a number of these students asked the coffee maker to make coffee, mix a little milk and add sugar to make it sweet.
