NC here-we got really devastated and are praying for all of Florida to escape with minimal damage and no deaths.We have lots numerous tiny historic towns that may never come back. It’s so heartbreaking!! Stay safe!

My prays for all Florida right now, my second home , be safe , As a survivor of a Cat 4 Hurricane ( 2017 Maria) here in Puerto Rico, i can tell, is serious, be prepared to be without power for weeks , go to a safe place, if your home can't resist heavy winds , go to a Mall , or a refuge, a more solid structure till the wind pass

The barriers are pretty high, the flooding would have to be several feet deep for anything to get out.

Are the hurricanes why folks in Florida are so ok with all of the history being torn down? I would fight for all that is left if I still lived there. Passivity in the youth is really the disaster. Nature will do what it will. Humans can make a difference.
