And I hope you don’t try to twist the verse as the majority of Christians do when they’re being refuted. Matthew 26:39. It describes Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest: “And going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.’” This moment highlights Jesus’ submission to God’s will in the face of immense suffering.
