Mahodand lake is located 32 km from Kalam, and Mahodand Lake altitude is about 9500 feet above from sea level.

Yes I saw some families there, but Mahodand lake sy pehly 1 glacier ata hai jiski waja sy road closed tha to glacier k upper sy jana para tha by walk wo little bit risky tha for families jeep glacier tak ja k ruk jaye gi us k bad half n hour ki walk thi. ab ho sakta hai road clear ho gaya ho. G Brother Jeep rent par mil jati hai for lake, apni gaari aap ushu main hi park kar k Jeep ushu sy hi le k jayein rent py Lake tak to ziada behtar hoga, Because choti car k liye road kharab hai water crossing aati hain jo k 4x4 hi easily karti hai. Ham ny to risk lia tha car apni le ja k aagy tak.
