A true hero of India he surely liquidated several times more Chinese. Indian Army has had many great heroes. Few know Nand Singh a Victoria Cross winner yet he forced himself into battle for India and he was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra in the 1947 war with Pakistan. Surely deserved a Param Vir Chakra. Also the bravery demonstrated by Captain Mahendra Nath Mulla was second to none and he also deserved a Param Vir Chakra for action during the 1971 Bangladesh creation war.

General Mor I am hearing this for the first time where some from the army brass is raising the question why no reinforcements were provides or a counter attack was executed after this skirmish. As a normal civilian I was baffled with these questions and inaction. I hope lessons have been learnt by the military strategists.
