John Gotti never got to set foot in this mansion. He was in prison by the time Victoria & her then-husband built it. It was never his home, it's Victoria's (who isn't a mobster). And she & her sons lived there very recently (check her IG), I don't know where you got 2009 from. Did you do any research at all? The show was called "Growing Up Gotti", she has 3 sons, which would explain the BB guns. Do you think REAL mobsters use BB guns??

Aome of theae houses also dnt sell due w the history of who owned it. They just dnt wnt w deal w any bs that may happen if someone is seen living in it. Thk most theae houses can just b bought just by paying back taxea on the property. But it would still take alot of money 2 make it liveable. This house was Victoria Gotti's house in Old Westbury Long Island, not John Gotti's. She moved out in December of 2020. I work for the lighting company on Long Island and I went to the property about 3 years ago because Victoria was interested in sub-dividing the property to build another house. There were two other structures on the property besides the main house and she wanted to demolition them. My company had to make sure those other 2 buildings weren't tied in to the underground electric system out on the street. At that point she was still living there.

What an awesome video!!! What a shame the house and property are starting to be consumed by nature. That is a gorgeous house, wouldn't take a million to refurbish it. It definitely needs saved, loved that secret room! Now, the vehicles in the back. Makes one wonder who just who might have been taken out.... LOL

The whole neighborhood always puzzled me - apparently the promised noise abatement walls were never built along this stretch of the LIE but there is the intervening service road which is just a busy all day and night. The cul-de-sac is lined with equally expensive homes (although this one is a tad vulgar) that would be worth so much more just a block or two north, away from the noise. Back in the day you could drive by the house & sometimes see “gentlemen” standing in the driveway & by the front door; I suppose living on this street was a blessing and a curse in that someone was always watching, but you also had a neighbor you would be loathe to cross, if only for the notorious connection to her father, who never lived here. You have to give props to Victoria, however, for doing her best to make a silk purse out of sow’s ears - she knew how to hustle and did her best to earn her coin to meet the bills, and although no Shakespeare, she is a fairly competent writer in her own right. Her novels were entertaining at least.
