I live in PA but go to Wildwood every summer and spend hoooours in Mariner’s arcade. It’s my favorite arcade there! That and Gateway 26? Which has a ton of 25¢ claws!

My husband and I love this arcade, we go every year and hit this arcade on the boardwalk!! Also on the wall where the skiball was, they have prizes and the blankets hanging, as well as a case with glass keepsakes, and sports memorabilia!! So glad you guys got to experience Mariners!

I really wished that we had claw machine in my country! We only have on tivolis and things like that!

Same thing here in Sweden. We have a few claw machines at the tivoli in Stockholm, but they are always rigged. You get one chance to move the claw forward and one chance to move it sideways. It moves too fast and drops before you know it. You´ll never have a chance to win.

Fun fact: there use to be racing arcade games, along with a DDR machine where the wizard of oz machine and the cranes are in the beginning of the video. Also, the old guy, Mitch, who comes on and announces skee-ball was an older gentlemen who was a ww2 vet working at the arcade with his old lady. He was a personal friend of mine, and he died in 2010 in his 90’s I want to say. Also, the wheel of fortune pushers are older than I am. They also had/have monopoly coin pushers. Moreover, ther used to be 1 point bronze coins from nickel slots and 5 point tickets.lastly, the poker machines have been there forever and I had to spend hundreds of dollars at the third machine in the middle lane facing toward the prize cabinets with the football collectibles. Source: lived in wildwood for 18 years
