FUN FACT. These matatus are designed and built from scratch locally starting with a truck bare chassis, everything else is built up by the youth. From the bodywork to the interiors with all custom artwork to all the electronics. And the youth run this industry. One of those custom made matatus costs upwards of $50,000 for the brand new bare chassis and then an additional $50,000 - $100,000 for the complete build. Just Crazy expensive.

I love how Auston is all about positivity unlike some people just out to exhibit their ignorance in Africa. From Miami to Rio, NY to Sanfrancisco, Cape Town to Accra, every world city has its good, bad and ugly sides. Nairobi is no exception. You cannot miss messy spots where street hustlers and homeless operate. Just as Brazil has favelas, Africa has its own types of ghetto places. At a time when many AAs are considering Africa as an option, and few African countries can meet those expectations, it's needless to focus on negatives. We want to see women with class, and interactions with Kenyans in their homes and social settings. We want to see how easy it is to get an apt or a vehicle, how approachable the women are in decent settings not trying to hit on the women in the streets going about their hustles. Keep it up Auston and don't lower your standards.

Less resources and income levels can lead to more scamming and dependency but high income programmers can scam through tech fraud . At least 500,000 homeless in US and 50,000 homeless in California have an incentive to scam due to less resources . In 2021 pandemic 3 individuals worked with homeless to scam state off $400,000 during pandemic . The current Nigeria president is high income but has been accused of scams .
