You could put 100 of these for Monument Valley, as any place you can pull over and explore could be a memorable stop. Keep up the great work!

Very true! Some of the most classic beautiful scenery there. 🙂

Thanks Amy, Glenn and, of course, Slim. Great job of putting all these beautiful places in a video. Love Slim BTW.

Thanks so much! With Glenn focused on half the week's content, it's hard to get narration from him rrecorded, so sometimes Slim has to step in. Few liked my narration either, and I'm a real human, so... can't please em all. 😅

I watched your videos last year about these places and last October I visited all these places, amazing.. unfortunately there was a lot of people due to the Eclipse. I will definitely go back some day with more time in my hands.. Thanks for sharing!!

Oh, man. Sorry to hear about the crowd. Did you get to witness the eclipse out of curiosity? I can't imagine a better place.
@Raptor-gd6sk10 ай бұрын
@@CactusAtlas we actually drove from home ( Southern California) to witness the eclipse, found a good spot by “ The forest Gump hill” that surprisingly was not crowded.. Valley of the Gods was flooded with RVs..

I love the concept and content of this video. Monument Valley was closed when we drove through in 2020, but I loved all of the other sights. Driving down Moki Dugway was an unexpected thrill!
@CactusAtlas9 ай бұрын
I remember the closure. We were keeping an eye on the Navajo Tribal Park's webpage to see when things would open back up for visits and it felt like the longest time. Pushed off plans for any trips to that area for a while. I remember the first encounter with the Moki Dugway too. Unexpected thrill definitely describes it! 😄

We pass a damn gas station every hundred yards for a thousand miles, but when you really need one, you end up walking your ass off. This is no way to run a desert!

I wish we could have Glenn narrating each video, but to keep up this schedule, I sometimes have to work independently while Glenn's filming or working on other projects. 🤷♀️ I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. We're trying to balance the type of videos, though. 😟

I haven't started the video yet, so don't really know why you brought this up, but must assume it is the AI generated voice? I actually turned it off once I realized that "Slim" was talking. It actually hurts my ears and gives me a headache! I don't know if it is the deep base in the voice or what. I'm not saying that as a cliche. I truly mean that I cannot listen to the voice because it hurts. Maybe I can watch with the volume off? I must add, however, that I love watching this channel's videos when Glenn is doing the talking.
@6T9GHIA9 ай бұрын
@@FlourishingLove I feel your pain. I have tinnitus from my previous career and this AI voice annoys me for some damn reason. The video is still worth watching even on mute of really low volume.

We might be a little partial for that reason too. 🤫 It's hard. One has the iconic features, and one has the solitude. Luckily, they're so close together.
@keithmiller34228 ай бұрын
Wow, someone's trying out for a PBS Documentary1 The Slim touch was great, and the drones shots were something those of us who have visited all of these sights never imagined. Awesome! Truly sad that the Navaho Nation outlaws these types of views. Their way of reprisal? If so, I guess we deserve it.
@CactusAtlas8 ай бұрын
Wow, thanks! We know Slim isn't everyone's flavor but it does make it easy when neither one of us have the time to record narration. 😅
