I've said it a few times--I think the best thing about the trial chambers (or at least not the worst thing) is the copper. Thank you for this overview, though and as always fantastic job!

Longplay Channel getting some love!!! "Good" loot... yeah... I love how you explained the surrounding blocks indicative of the mobs. I loved the sarcastic fight scene - makes me miss the live streams (hint hint). and the music for the following fighting scenes is Perfect!! Skill issue.. I have many! Loving the flash inventory peek of HedgeHog Rad!

Yeahhhhh would love to see people over on Longplays, too! I'll get some content up there soon AND the start of a series/world. The surrounding blocks really helps me prep for a fight in these so I'm glad it's useful. The fight scenes just ... oh man. I didn't know what to say, honestly. I hear ya on the streams - soon maybe but with MORE changes I think ... or "changes back" maybe ... we'll see.

FYI you can reuse the spawners for more keys. It's just vaults that are one time use :)

Thanks, I was resetting them once in a while but honestly wanted to check out more vaults especially in the beginning so I took off a bit earlier than I should've and had to come back. The ones at the end I tended to stay longer in so I ended up with *more* keys than I needed! :)

Sarcastic Rad is getting a lot of play in this video! 😂 Glad to see an overview of the chambers. I will be updating once Vanilla Tweaks updates their datapacks. I’m a little annoyed that it will take so many trial chambers to get all the stuff. I might have to trim the chunks in my world so I don’t have to travel forever. I’m a little nervous to do so, so I will have to look into it. Have you ever made a video going over the mods you use? Always curious to see what the pros use. Keep up the good work!

haha yeah Sarcastic Rad did indeed get a lot of screen time here. I REALLY do like the update ... I'm just not sure how I'm meant to pretend it's hard. I see a lot of people really struggling through and I ... didn't want to do that. :D Yeah trimming chunks was a good plan for me, as well. Although I learned after the video that if I 'enlarge' the first map, it may show me a trial chamber that the other guy didn't point me to. Oh well, live and learn. I don't have a mods video - maybe I can do one soon. :)

Very nice! I’ve known absolutely nothing about the chambers so I learned a lot! Do you know if you can place the heavy cores down as a block or not?

The risk was nearly 0 and so were the rewards so I guess they weren't WRONG. lol I mean new trims are always welcome. Notch apples are great. Some of the rewards are good ... just not most. By far. lol And yeah, not having my wings on sometimes was just because I was moving about and didn't notice the difficulty change much except a couple times. :D As far as the 'trade' for my mending/infinity bows ... let's be honest. I have all the villie trades for new bows and a SHULKER of power 5 infinity bows. It's not like adding mending was making me OP ... it's just convenience so yeah why not?

You could have also used the 24w11a snapshot to get god armor and get a sword with sharpness, smite, and bane of arthropods all together

Yeah I really could've gone over the top. And I could've used another to dupe netherite infinitely but I had some restraint lol

@@RadicalElder I wouldn’t use a snapshot to dupe items as that is obviously cheating, but as long as I went through the grind to get the items, I think that it’s fine.

couldn't you just kill the captain and drink the potion to start the raid farm or are there other mechanics about the farm that broke too?

Unfortunately not. That starts "a raid" not the stacking raid mechanic. You can only spawn 1 raid per 30 seconds and the stacking raid farm is summoning many raids at once ... so traditional stacking raid farms (ianxofour's, chronos, etc.) are all done now. There's apparently a new type but it's VERY VERY slow compared to the ones we had before. I'll get redstone from the double witch hut now.

FIRST!! i know there is a joke here somewhere with the fact your burning a bunch of mini Rads... can we have a moment of silence for all the farms that are broken............................................. (hmm we need a day where comm server is updated to the snapshot for a little bit before going to full release :wink:) Love the boots YAY longplays but i love it all. that is a very interesting raid captain unaliving area. (i think its random bad omen level drop) since its not a random drop to drop one at all easy enough to get a bluderbutrderbladurbu, sounds about right :joy: :heart: did someone say BREAD!!! i think the reason you don't like the update as much is because its not a challenge to you unless you are (better loot from breaking the pots :joy: is the mace strictly fall damage.. or could you fly and hit something? i definitely loved watching this video it was bluderbutrderbladurbu-rific

You were! I don't want to say I don't like the update - it has great things, which we'll see next time with the autocrafter. I like the bogged and the breeze, they just weren't overly challenging with full netherite prot 4 but very little is. And no you can't "fly" with the mace - it's more of a drop. I have to test it more to see if I like it but so far it's just hit and miss-and-be-in-trouble mostly.

Disappointing for sure for late gamers. I started a new world and it’s much more challenging in non-enchanted iron armor. Glad to see long play channel isn’t going away. I thought it looked like it had no videos last time I was there. Rad - would you please explain or do a quick video on how you are using minihud on 1.21? I know masa’s mods aren’t updated yet. I would sincerely appreciate it as I really miss minihud and tweakaroo!guessing others are in the same boat.

Yeah that's a good idea for a video actually ... it won't be a super long one but probably something a lot of people would get use from considering the change. And yeah you're right about the longplay - I'm in the middle of renovating it so I can upload a bunch of stuff but generally I've been using it to "embed" links in video descriptions so not a lot of it is public, but if you know it's there you can get into it from links in other videos. It will have its own content very soon! :)

Iron armour may be the way to go for them. Or at least intentionally making it harder somehow like that. I do like the update, I just wish I didn't steamroll the biggest part like it wasn't there. lol

You wanna no the truth? This update was made more for the early to mid-game, rather than late. Sure I can see myself exploring the structures later on just for fun, but by getting a full suit of iron armor and some iron tools and food, I’ve taken down countless chambers. Mojang actually made them as a MID-GAME challenge- they’re more fun that way. In the mid to early game they really are challenging, and the rewards mean so much more. Also, from my personal experience so far, you were simply very unlucky. I usually get quite a few enchantments and armor trims when taking them on, and when completing ominous ones, you very rarely get the mace head. If your lucky, 3 new music discs can be found: Creator, by Lena Raine, Precipice, by Aaron Cherof, and a music box version of Creator also by Lena Raine. They both include a new instrument to Minecraft: GUITARS! They are fire too. If you get your hands on a blue one from ominous vaults, it’s Creator, my personal fave, though Precipice is also great. I love the bolt armor trims, and when used correctly, wind charges are also quite valuable. Perhaps try starting a new world and testing one in iron gear. WAY more fun!

I definitely agree it's more early to mid game and I heard it was more fun with other people. I have a world and I want to keep it so I can only take it on when I'm presented with it. I think I was "critical" of it because I know we wait a year for updates and for the update to be "oh, a couple different mobs to stick my sword in" was kinda disappointing. The mace is a niche weapon but as I said, kinda fun when you actually use it. Trims are awesome, I'll never hate on new trims even if I don't like them personally (I do like Flow a LOT.) And the new discs are quite awesome but not very "Minecrafty" in the old sense, I suppose. I'm very pro-autocrafter, very pro-copper and tuff blocks and copper bulbs, etc.

"Skill issue" even though ur In full prot 4 netherite lmao. Trial chambers are good for early to mid game players who don't minmax full protection 4 diamond armor. A lot of challenges are funner when you don't have the best armor in the game surprisingly 😱😱😱

I agree and I said that. You want me to seem like the bad guy and that's fine but I said I'm at the wrong point for it. But this is where I am when it came out. SB did it armorless. He minmaxed making it look possible that way. I didn't even bother with a shield which makes this 800 times easier. I said this would be more fun in the first 100 days of a world. And that I was overgeared. So idk.
