I have not played “Roots”, but if I am not mistaken, it is a PbtA game and I am all about that. I hope you get to record some of that. A game that I recommend a lot is “Masks: A New Generation”. It is a teen superhero game and it is so much fun.

warhammer 40k wrath and glory is one of the best ttrpgs ive tried and im not even that knowledgeable about 40k, its just a good system. cogent is also a 10/10 simple setting agnostic system. ICRPG has a lot of good ideas, but imo the fact that two level one players can have 1d4 and 2d12 for damage at level 1 bothers me too much, its almost intentionally unbalanced and i dont like that Last Arc is looking really good but ive only tried the free version of it so far, ill probably buy that once it's complete

I worry the rules explanation would be a bit heavy for the audience but maybe.

@@KristiansBrain Makes sense. Personally, I would enjoy a session even without a teach. Or maybe super core rules only, and then text explaining basic rules or showing a chart as the game is being played. But that's a lot of video work :P

I heard of rifts and even knew a store who ran in back when I lived in Texas almost a decade ago. It intrigued me because it reminded me of Rift the mmo. I think they may have ripped off the idea for that game

Very possibly, the lore is so expansive I think they've ripped off basically everything at this point.
