Wow! Really, REALLY nice skiing in this episode Lucas!!! High speed flow and flawless technique. You are now cleary in the ZONE for the23'/24 season. Living vicariously through you since Tahoe is still "bare bones" skiing right now. Thanks for letting us tag along for the fun.

hey Lucas! Just a tip, you actually can get Great Scott off of Little Cloud if you just stay high up off the cut over, and look for the gate that says Upper Cirque/Great Scott. there might be very minimal side stepping involved, but you can indeed hit GS from the highest gate off of the traverse from Little Cloud

Damn Lucas! The progression you have made over the past three seasons is mind blowing. You’ve always been a great skier but honestly you have jumped to the next level. Big props and kudos my friend! Safe travels.

Great video Lucas. I appreciate that you’re finding ways to keep the videos entertaining even after skiing Snowbird like 10x already this season. Those Gad chutes looked sick and that hit off Great Scott was huge! Appreciate all the B roll and other stuff you filmed too, I think it adds to the videos by giving us the viewer the feel that we’re coming along for a whole ski day with you. Keep it up!!

Hey Lucas, so i just got myself a pair of ARV 106s, the same that you have and while it is an incredible ski i struggle a bit on icy/less loose snowy conditions, i feel like that the just doesnt grab the edge too well and i'm just sliding, even after an edge prep. Do you have any tips?
@LucasCatania178 ай бұрын
i dont necessarily have any tips. for hard pack conditions like you're describing, a 106 is often too wide of a ski to get any effective edge pressure. in those conditions, you would be better suited with a more narrow ski with more camber under the foot.
@MarkusDynamic8 ай бұрын
@@LucasCatania17 thanks, at least i got a confirmation that it is not just in my lack of skill haha. I’m thinking of getting 96 underfoot or even 90s for some more onpiste action
