Love to see you exploring WI. I’ve never even heard of that town 🙈 Two recommendations for places similar to this to check out if you want to put it on your list: Anaway Place in the driftless region in WI (formerly known as candlewood cabins) Grey Duck Cabin near the north shore of MN - this would be a couple of hours longer that this place was but I think it would be amazing for you. Such a beautiful part of MN but you don’t even need to leave the property if you don’t want. It has a trail that leads down to a decent size river and the place is off-grid. They even rent it in the winter.
