Glovestrains. My husband, John, and I are old fogeys [71 and74]. We love your videos. John has been a train lover all his life, I think, and I have been since I met him in 1979. I love your little song [Knickers on your head]. very impressive singing it in Welsh! Bora da! Keep up the good work. [Sheila]

Morfa Mawddach used to be called Barmouth Junction as trains diverted away from the Cambrian Coast line along the Ruabon to Barmouth Line via Dolgellau, Bala and even Llangollen which the Llangollen Railway operates trains to Corwen and the Bala Lake Railway lies on one of the track bed as well at 5:46 that poster is what Morfa Mawddach used to look like. great video and really enjoyed the trip along the Cambrian Coast Line.

Lovely video, G! The energy in this vlog is fantastic, we've got great music (and some excellent dance moves) and it's just a beautifully crafted video to enjoy. Thanks for all the early starts and long distances and unhelpful lack of toilets that you went through to make this video and all the other ones that you made on your week off work. It is much appreciated!

Another brilliant, exuberant and fun film in a part of the country that holds great memories for me. I spent time in Fairbourne in 1996, the Royal Air Force outdoor training centre is there. I went there when I was in the RAF. Went up Cader Idris, did some stuff mucking about in rivers at Dollgellau. Also had a barbecue and few beers with my mates on the same lovely beach you were on. I remember the miniature railway, the shop, it hardly seems to have changed. Looking forward to your next film. You cheer me up immensely.

Came here on the hunt for literally any new Class 777 or Class 230 content a couple of weeks ago, stayed to absolutely rinse the North West By Train series. The Welsh series is fab but having to ration myself on watching these as they are very moreish and there's not many of your vids left I've not watched! Properly entertaining stuff.

Super travel series. Definitely recommend checking out the Talyllyn Railway if you have some minutes spare at Tywyn when you visit. It's just down the road from the station but is a very lovely place, even without hopping on the train. Toilets and cafe too - always useful on trips like this!

Another good vid .Admittedly I'm a little biased because it's my local line but, (in my experiences so far on the railway) yep best guards are on the Cambrian Coast Line. Always very helpful and friendly. Although I have to say, I've never had an announcement on the in train announcement thing before despite the number of years I've traveled on the line. Look forward to seeing your visit to my local station (Talsarnau).

Nice video. I had a great time in Wales last week. I went to a few stations. Bangor, Porthmadog, Caernarfon, Harlech and the Ffestiniog. I stayed at the foot of Snowden and had the Ffestiniog on the side of the mountains which we travelled along with the Gelert explorer going from Caernarfon to Beddgelert which translates to grave of Gelert there is some legend about Gelert IDK any of it. I didn't get a chance to visit Pwllheli sadly. My last visit to Pwllheli station I saw my first TFW unit in Wales and the second TFW train but annoyingly it was one I had saw about a month before in the rain at Wakefield Kirkgate. On my way home I saw a lot of Engineering trains around Llandudno Junction

I remember back in 2015, I was in Barmouth with my friend and we walked across the bridge, then caught the train back across, 1 stop to Barmouth again. Really need to go back and do more of this line. I did the Fairbourne railway in about 2005, so I barely remember it. I plan to do all the railways I did around then again, like the Snowdon Mountain Railway and the Bala Lake Railway, plus ones I haven't yet done like the Vale of Rheidol (from Aberystwyth) and the Talyllyn (from Tywyn) and the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway (in Porthmadog). I hope you make mention of the length of the platform at Llandanwg when you do that one. It's so small.

Many years ago we were staying in Llandudno and we went to Snowdon on a day trip. Our coach had just arrived at the railway and there was a MASSIVE queue. Just after we got of the coach that announced that all the trains for that day were fully book. Lucky for us we got our tickets via the coach company. Hoping to see GLovesTrains visit LLanfair PG, longest station name in the UK

Great video G. I have been to Barmouth many a time before and I've been in that co-op as well before. Guess it has a ticket machine because it's a busy station. The bridge is good for walking up and down and good for spotting. You get really up close to the trains. Lovely views along the line by the looks of it. Barmouth has an interesting rock shop if you've been in there. Might find some rude/inappropriate rocks if you look closely. You bring good energy to your videos. Looking forward to the next installment of this series. Keep up the great work.
