I was in Redding for work and made sure to take my bike. I explored the trail from Turtle Bay and into the neighborhood. Very scenic and beautifully peaceful. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. All the locals suggested that trail and the Sundial Bridge and I couldn't thank them enough for the recommendation.

Another beautiful ride. Loved that it rode right along the river the entire time!

Such a nice place. Summer is definitely not the best time though lol. That’s hot. And thank you for the recommendation. We heard good things of castle crags, and will have to see about the budda bowl.

Wow that was an awesome watch! I live currently in southern cal, have not been to that section of the sacramento river trail. Did you see any encampments or graffiti along the way it looked very safe? Thank you for posting your adventures I love watching,
@TylerandKari Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much. We knew very little about this trail, but a pleasant surprise. Actually not a single encampment and just a tiny bit of graffiti in town. As soon as the ride left the town, it was beautiful. Overall, felt safe, but not a lot of people so would be nice with a small group. Really appreciate it and thanks for watching.

Alot of locals use this trail system and there are actually bike cops that patrol the entire trail it's very safe the trail once you get out of town is not real shady so it does get hot it's better early spring or mid fall for that portion of trail if you are heat sensitive.

Agree to this about the weather! Didn’t know that about the bike patrol. Nice to know!

Also, not sure which part I like better, the leg shaving part or seeing Kacie carrying a bottle of sunscreen in her water bottle Fanny pack 😂

Hahaha both. She added some character to this video.

What kind of bikes are you riding ? I would appreciate information as I am a new bike rider
@TylerandKari5 ай бұрын
Sorry, we need to be better about provide more details when out riding. Kari is on a specialized turbo Vado 4.0. I am on a surly pack rat. My tires are approx 44mm. Kari I believe a little wider. Both are running 650b wheels.

Well, it’s a nice river trail at least.

@@TylerandKari it was the only thing in Redding that was good

@@BlueEyedAmerican Yes -several great biking opps in Redding, but truly a sicko place to live. There’s a reason Redding makes our national news as an example of ignorance, hatred, religious freaks, totally irresponsible and out-of-control government.

Enjoyed video! FWIW: Those multiple air trails are intentional, man-caused rain/weather control. Vastly unknown, BUT, hugely confrontational. Research it. You likely will oppose chemically imposed air trails.
@TylerandKari8 ай бұрын
Thank you. Appreciate it. I did hear about that from people when I was living up that way. Anything with less chemicals is likely best way to go.
