Thank you for this! My family, both mothers & fathers side were raised in Grass Valley/Nevada City & I was as well until age 8, then we moved to Eastern Oregon. My Mother said the side walks were just wooden boards when she was growing up there & it had a population of about 2000 then. Its great to see the streets my Grandfather helped pave! Thank you for an intimate look at the town so close to my family's heart! Salamat🙏🤗

Now there’s meth heads all around. I lived in grass valley and Nevada city, all meth heads and homelessness run the streets. in the summer season San Francisco busses their homeless to both cites so they won’t be an eyesore during SFs peak tourism schedule. They pick them back up at the beginning of winter so they don’t have to deal with northern Cali winters.
