Back when I was in the Navy, we used to go to Calabra all the time. I am pretty sure that the Navy used southern side of the island for a target range. I know we used to go there to shoot the southern side of the island with a 50 caliber off from our boat. Stationed in Puerto Rico for five years. I really loved it there. I did so much snorkeling. And we used to climb up into El Yunque. It is one of the few rainforests owned by United States

Certain parts of Louisiana has a ton of Pink Flamingos. Forget where I was that day back in 2018, but our charter boat out of Venice got canceled because of high winds and record breaking cold weather. We took a long ride and we're lucky enough to see several groups of like 10 to 20 pink flamingos with others around the area, absolutely awesome it was almost surreal.

Guy's this series of videos from Puerto Rico are some of my favorites of your's. I would not have been happy at leaving such a cool place, but there is always next time. The mosquito thing was a hoot, and takes me back to a time in my youth spent in one of those far away lands. We didn't have those zappers then thank goodness, those mosquito's would have taken them away from us and zapped us. These were big mosquito's, how big were they you ask? Well they were soooo big they could stand flat footed and pee in the back of a 2 ton gravel truck. You know that story " First Lier don't stand a chance.
