Ugh I get why you tried pizza tonno as a frozen pizza because it’s less of a commitment but it truly doesn’t represent what it tastes like. A good fresh one with red onions is just sooo good.

I gotta say, as a deaf person, I must compliment you on the audio in your videos. In particular, this video’s audio was very loud and clear (especially the outdoor shots which are often muffled with all the other various outdoor sounds in other people’s videos! Idk if you use a microphone or what, but I just wanted you to know that the effort is APPRECIATED!! ☺️☺️
@EvanEdingerTravel

Oh I just spend a lot of time on audio post processing :) I’m glad it’s not so bad as for the stable shots with the DJI I’m just using the onboard microphone and not a special one. iPhone also picks up lots of traffic sounds so I add a voice isolation layer. Then I finish the whole thing off with a loudness normalisation so the whole video is at the same nice loudness and you don’t have to struggle to hear certain clips and then have others be too loud

@@EvanEdingerTravelyour effort really is appreciated. The music with the photos worked really well for me because it wasn’t clashing with dialogue, and when you were talking the audio was so clear I rarely needed to look down at the captions ❤

I’m originally from the States, have been in Germany for over 24 years and became a citizen more than ten years ago. The first time I went to the Sauna, I made a trip to Stuttgart, two and a half hours away from where I was living at the time, just to make sure that I didn’t bump into anyone I knew. I’ve come to really enjoy the relaxation of the Sauna and don’t have any reservations about going to the one in the public pool one block from our home. I do draw the line when on a work outing with lots of colleagues. Some companies actually have on site sports facilities that have saunas. That’s certainly an interesting concept.

the train confusion was about: there are several ways to go to Potsdam - and he didn't take the S-Bahn (as mentioned before) but the regional comuter train instead (which is faster but only runs every half an hour or hour). Obviosly he just visited just one third of Sans Souci Gardens - he wist a bunch of pavillions and the New Palace area.

I've recently had my first proper sauna sitting as well as wellness pools (which are also without any swimwear). And six of my friends also went there. Some of us, including me, didn't feel all that comfortable at first but over time you more or less forget about it. Random strangers are just that: random strangers. And for iur group I'd say that it increased the trust between each other even more. If I as a 120+ kg dude (no, those are not muscles) can do it, so can you :) Maybe you want to give it another try sometime.

Way back in 2013 my husband and I went to Baden-Baden and there was a very cool Roman-inspired spa called Friedrichsbad. It’s a series of thermal pools and spa treatments like getting scrubbed down with brushes by an attendant. It’s is usually separated by sex but they did have co-Ed days. It is required to be completely undressed. Nobody talks to anyone though so it is ok. It is definitely an interesting experience and would do again! There is also a museum with the old Roman ruins of the original bathhouses underneath it! Definitely recommend👍👍

So cool to see your shots of Potsdam! :) I moved here this spring and it truly is a nice place. About the sauna: I went several times in Finland and even though those were also mostly nude saunas, I felt much more comfortable than in the German saunas I've tried so far. Not sure what makes the difference but I can totally relate to your experience.

Potsdam is the former residence of Germany's kings and emperors, so there were thousands of high-ranking officials and state employees living in that city, which would explain the architecture. Also, the best time to visit the palace gardens would be in May or June.

@alicemilne1444 Yeah, I know. Neuschwanstein Castle would probably be the most famous royal residence and it was the home of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. My point was just that Potsdam has this grandiose architecture because it was home to a royal court.

Which one did you get from Dr. Oetker? They have different brands: Ristaurante, Die Ofenfrische, La Mia Grande Die Ofenfrische is really good. It is just fresh made pizza and frozen not pre baked. With a pizza stone in the oven it is better than many pizzas from pizza chains. Tuna is also a favourite of mine.

okay gym saunas can be weird, like really weird. usually you wear nothing or a towel in the sauna (plus the one you sit on) and a bathrobe between saunas. try the Vabali or one of the Thermen (thermal baths) around Berlin. the latter are a bit confusing, they have textile sports pools and non-textile brine pools, but once a week those are textile, too, just the sauna is always no clothes, except for the steambath, that depends... you'll figure it out. Saarow and Ludwigsfelde are pretty well connected with trains. I guess no content, tho, because no filming unless they allow you to stay after they close or something. but imho you owe yourself going to a proper sauna, maybe even catch a massage.

Naked sauna and tuna pizza are both very common in Finland too. I don't care for saunas in general (too hot), but have been in public ones many times since I was just a toddler, and you just get used to the nudity. Usually public saunas are gendered, but families go all together in their private ones, and most of us have seen all of our family members naked. Many of us also go with our grandparents, aunties or uncles, cousins etc. especially as kids. It's just not a big thing when you grow up with it. Tuna pizza is lovely though, just made some a few days ago!

Being nude in a sauna is nothing unusual. A spa facility in my hometown actually has (used to have? Haven't gone there for ages) one evening a week where sauna visitors could swim in the nude afterward -- and the only persons allowed to wear swimsuits were preteen children. What's slightly disconcerting is wandering around the grounds and coming up to a sixty-something guy with a genital piercing. Oh-kaay ... Or standing under the shower, noticing peripherally that someone else is turning on the one next to you ... and then becoming aware, as a somewhat overweight woman, that it's a 6'5" guy with a decathlete's physique (and knowing it'd be really inappropriate to look, so you don't). 🙂 But talk about being suddenly EXTREMELY body-conscious!

Been to several saunas in Germany. One in Berlin was actually a swimming pool and spa - Thermen am Europa-Center in Berlin. To my surprise when I got inside everyone was naked (all mixed sex) in the swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, the large open showers and even on the outdoor roof terrace, sunbathing and socialising. This terrace was overlooked by many taller city centre offices, but the Germans didn't seem to care. I overcame my inhibitions and enjoyed the experience. The second was in a spa in Wiesbaden - the thing that was most striking there was that in a mixed sex sauna where everyone was naked, every so often an older, large, German grandad stood up and swirled a large towel around above his head to circulate the heat and eucalyptus scent he'd just mixed with water and poured on the sauna 'coals'. He was totally naked while swirling this towel around his head. The contrast between the large towel he was swirling around and his very small p** p** was very marked. The last mentioned item was only partly visible due to a profusion of very non Gen-Z bushy hair and a large overhanging belly. He didn't seem to care either. I would have shrivelled up and died - seemingly he already had, well part of him anyway.

for the headache nausea: sounds weird, but look up liver-meridian meditation. or just get it out, that resets the stomach and you only need to deal with the headache (pills do work again afterwards) drink warm water to help it, fennel tea afterwards to neutralize, and be dignified: use a bucket.
