LOL, the way you described the Crab Meat Alcapuria made me laugh this morning. Alcapuria is made of green bananas and toot yam some are made of yuca stuffed with meat or seafood while egg rolls are made with flour. and yes Bacalaitos (Cod fish fritters) are greasy as a Native I eat them with 2 slices of bread/ Enjoy the Island,

Matty, I'm from a town called Anasco. People think that Anasco is just a small town but it's actually a mountain that has hidden beaches. Anasco is on the West Coast close to Crash Boat Beach in Aguadilla. I hope you're enjoying the Ricans over there, they ain't hard like Ricans on the mainland. Eat at the lechonera spots on the side of the road bro. I guarantee you that Ricans make the best pork and rice and beans on Earth...and don't forget to wash it all down with a Medalla beer

Welcome to our wonderful island Matt. The beaches, the hospitable people, the great climate. Not to mention the incredible variety of food. And did i mention the fooood.😂 I moved here 2 years ago, love it.🙂 Yeah as you reach small secluded food establishments. The food get way better and healthier 😂believe it or not. Campo (Country) style food is on a different level. You should try El Malecon in Naguabo. Beautiful place by the shore with amazing food. Happy hunting Food Adventurer.✌🏽
