I remember being a kid getting my hair cut about 35 yrs ago across the river from that coke mural. Its good to see it still there.

That Coke mural was in a British documentary on Coke. Having lived here 98% of my life it was cool to see something like that.

I fossil hunt in Peak Creek all the time! You can find Fossils mainly from the Devonian and Carboniferous periods. I’ve found fossils of early land plants & some of the first trees, as well as shells from the reefs that existed when the area was part of the Iapetus ocean. Next time you are in the area hit me up on here or Instagram and I’ll show you a few good spots.

Nasty peak creek

That building was a theater back in the day. It’s was known as Dalton theater

My dad was an antique dealer and he had the Chandelier lights from the Dalton.

I liked the creek and the idea of magnet fishing. I'm pretty sure there are coins everywhere so metal detecting would be awesome, if allowed. Good job!

Shouldve went the other way, you wouldve found some nasty water lines. When you see it youll know it and will smell it.
