@@thecrimsoncookie6602 I lean toward the opposite opinion. For me, I just like hunting for the trader role, and running my “pub” (moonshine shack). I can’t seem to get emotes to work to wave for example, and dead eye simply doesn’t work, so I’m pretty much useless defending myself from griefers, or “too many” NPCs. It’s such a beautiful game I still log in everyday to keep my steak going.

It's definitely a fun world to play in as a gunslinger. Rockstar did us so dirty as time went on with less and less updates. So much potential was wasted. I'll never forget the disappointment of Blood Money or whatever the update was called... Capitally this capitally this.

I play every day. Lots of guys still online. The PVP missions can be a pain in the arse to find folks but still see plenty of guys and of course doushbag hackers

I still don’t understand why they would abandon such a beautiful game. They are still almost regularly updating GTA 5. If you count the weekly updates then yes very frequently.

It sucks rockstar dropped the ball so hard with 2's online. But I've always enjoyed your videos brother, and I still do play it sometimes!

Game is still fun and enjoyable mostly with friends in the same lobby. We literally be riding our horses all over the entire map and setting up for group photos and such. Rockstar is such a disappointment with this game

I remember me and my friend blasted through the campaign to complete it before the Online mode came out, we wrote nearly entire books of ideas and stuff for a gang we wanted to form. We ended up recruiting other people till my friend gave up on it due to the lack of updates (before the roles came out), I stuck around and plenty of fun hunting, fishing and engaging with the different communities. Helped a few groups hunt and find loot, even helped them deliver moonshine and hunting goods. These days there's less of that, so I mostly stick to myself sometimes wandering the land to hunt, sell moonshine and stuff. I still remember me and my friend were gonna eventually stop doing group stuff and pretend to have our characters survive in the wilderness, never got to it though. Also, got to hang with a group with a youtuber PJ Pandaa which was a fun event. 🤠

This is the goldmine Rockstar just didn't want to mine. It had the greatest potential and got ditched pretty bad. But as a high lvl, just like you say. It's still pretty fun to play

Started playing in 2020 , still play but always play in an empty lobby because of grievers .. Love to hunt .

I’m still playing but I’ve been hiding in MTU solo lobbies to avoid the griefers. My network connection is terrible so even when I wasn’t being attacked I couldn’t get the online story missions or events to work. In solo I can at least play most of the content.

i just got into it again recently, it used to be so much fun and relaxing, and to be honest, it still is, sure it isnt what it used to be, but that happens with everything in life, i guess there is phases for everything, its a shame the game got abandoned but maybe that was a good thing, it stopped them from making what gta online is nowadays, idk but it still has the same feel to it, and its fun thats as much as i could possibly ask for and im grateful for all the memories and people i met because of this game, thank you for the video bro

I play on PS, lobbies are always close to full, occasional griefers but nothing explosive rounds dont take care of.

I tried playing it in 2023 but a dude kept spawing exploding arrows and two headed skeletons on my character. Haven't played it since.

I surprisingly haven't dealt with many hackers in 2024/2025. I'm sure they're still out there though

unrelated to other players online, i loved to grind set's, sell them and buy all the items i wanted. Rockstar stopped the pass, they stopped implementing things like exiting items to buy and on top of that i had game breaking bugs like the Horse don't spawn when u whistle ( not dead ), Metal detector not working. The few times i had encounters with other players it was purely cheaters who made your exp miserable. Dropped the game last year even tho i was a die-hard fan of it. It still has great potential yeah, but it got abandon and neglegted to an extend where it's barely enjoyable anymore. Only time i could work around the ingame issues is reboot the game. Is it fun to do this every 5 min cause of another issue. no.... Miss playing it so much and i watched all your content back then. To everyone who read this and is still playing, i hope y'all enjoy it till it get shut down. Masterpiece of a game sadly left to die like arthur...

Good video but the reasons I no longer play are still very apparent here. I don't care for PVP and the griefing just spoils the experience. The game, after almost seven years still looks gorgeous, I just wish they'd never stopped supporting it, so early into its life cycle.

Online is super boring to og players. In 2025 the fan base is mainly new low level players. the new players thinking more content will come and the old players just don’t want to let go

That was kind of them, sometimes you can get the rare player offloading stuff they hunt, I usually remain cautious some do it to lure people in to shoot them - happened once to me. Sometimes I give people big fish, spare Bison or Gator.

I believe this alongside gtav was a test, Is I better to, Release a game fully polished, fully equipped with little to complain about. Or Release a pile of turd that we will update constantly in order to keep people's attention. Now, you'd probably assume everyone would stay on the polished peice without getting bored right? We have sealed our fate with the fact gtav is still thriving, this company now knows what sells. Sad
