They had came for learning Yoga, some peoples had came for learning our Sanatan Dharma. I took lots of photos with foreigners. They also took pictures with Indians. I love Foreign peoples , lots of peoples are very good in polite behavier. They love India and Indian culture, heritage. You don't know that India's ancient culture was world famous and very ancient. India gives lots of scriptures. Lots of Maharishis (Ancient sages, ancient prophets of India) , Rishis, Many greatest peoples were born in india. And they gave us Vedas, Upavedas , Sanhitas, Puranas like greatest scriptures , histories. This is the main reason lots of foreigners attracted towards our Vedic Culture. I'm very very happy that you and your wife and child came to Rishikesh. Rishikesh also famous for many ancient indian great Rishis. Rishikesh name was derived from the word "Rishi". Ancient Indian Rishis lived Rishikesh and other parts of India. From Rishikesh area lots of ancient Rishis shared their vedic knowladge to ordinary devotees. Then knowladge of Veads , Puranas came to us. India is only country of Rishis (The greatest sages of India). Welcome to India. And please, visit with your wife, child to kolkata. I live here. If you stay in India forever , you may learn lots of thing about India. Indian culture will inspire you , how to become a perfect human. Sanskrit is the language of GOD. Since you are traveling with a baby, some unwarranted advice :) In the mountains, you need to be a little careful about what you eat and specially drink. You can safely eat anything that is cooked. Better if they are still hot. Try to avoid drinking normal water or juices mixed with water/ ice. Bottled water is preferable, though not all bottled water are genuine mineral water ..still it is better to exercise caution.

I have been there on the banks of Ganges exactly at that place where that small shop is located & the person plays this song - Jai Jai Shiv Shambhu. It's been around 2 years since I visited Rishikesh. I took a holy dip at that location/ Ghaat & enjoyed and loved that song Praising Shiva ❤️. Love

Namashkar friend. Vishudda teaches Vedanta. That's why he knows a lot and he loves it. I was a Brahmin priest and I read a lot of the vedas, Srimad Bhagavatam, Chaitanya Charitambrita, Bhagavad Gita and more.

Thank you much for making video of Rishikesh. You seem to have learnt a lot about Sanatam Dharma (Hinduism) and absorbed our culture correctly. You guys must be some true devotees born again on a distant land but your devotion has brought you back to the roots. Hinduism has been a very rational and scientific religion with a rationale behind everything that is done. Cows are worshiped as they are a home to devis and devtas. They offer their milk to us so it is our duty to pray to them. Every thing from cows - milk, ghee, butter, curd, cheese is used by us and even their residue has medicinal property. I try to offer them food if I could buy or carry - like rotis, biscuits, bread or even fresh peels of vegetables. Your kid is really lucky to have parents like yours who chose peace and devotion over psuedo negitive narratives in the west about India. Also, try saying GOD or bhagwan (instead of lord as thats a colonial coined term). Please visit our temples and understand our culture more (but go barefoot, on a vegan diet and don't carry any product made from animals)/ My prayers and wishes to your really adorable kid and you. The kid seems so calm and so do you as if you all are immersed in the tranquility of hinduism and shiva. Please share your experiences, spread the knowledge and inform your friends in the west about the beauty of Indian culture. For any hesitations like safety - keep in touch with the ministry of tourism or local police , seek rides from government approved and authorized public autos, taxis or buses. Don't hesitate in enquring from locals (especially older women, men or girls) and reconfirming. Always carry indian calling cards and keep in touch. For food - can eat any properly cooked or boiled food or renowned restaurants or eateries. Jai hind, Jai shri Ram
