Barkley Sound and Blake Island have returned to the big screen. Aft deck is looking sharp! 47 degrees here in sun.

I notice your anchor chain is over the bridle. Perhaps if it is through the bridal it would eliminate your chafing. This works fine if the chain cannot hit your stem.

Nice Job on the deck. It looks great. When I did my back deck I put down a wet gray coat, sprinkled washed hardware store sand on by hand. Then when it was dry I put on a second gray coat. I was very happy with the results. Much cheaper and easier than the marine store product and application directions.

please explain how the anchor buddy works on the dinghy!

You use two lines - one out in the water and another one on shore. The one out in the water, whether it be off the battle of the stern has elastic to it. This way you can pull the dingy to shore to get on it but you let it go so it allows a dinghy to float and not slam against the shore or end of high and dry when the tide goes out. When it is time to leave you just pull the dinghy to shore and get in

Its a Bushnell Yardage Pro - primarily used by golfers and hunters and it works great
