Waking up to a beautiful morning in Wakkanai, the northernmost city in Hokkaido, Japan, I got on a train to head back south, first stopping in Sapporo. Once I got to Sapporo, I had the afternoon to check out the city.
I started by heading to the Sapporo Clock Tower, the oldest building in the city. I then headed to the Sapporo TV Tower. After that, I went to the fish market, which turned out to be relatively uneventful. Then I headed to the Toyohira River, which was the most quintessential Japanese riverside one could imagine.
After that, what trip to Sapporo could be complete without a visit to the Sapporo Beer Museum? I tried their three different beers and then headed to the train station to take a train back to Hakodate, where I would stay the night before heading back further south to Tokyo.
And thus ended my trip to Japan. There were a few more odds and ends you can see on my personal channel here: / @robbyhuang

@@AJKPenguin Well US infrastructure is in ruins, in a few years there’ll be mass bridge closures because they aren’t well kept and most are over 40 years old
@AJKPenguin
@AJKPenguin 4 жыл бұрын
@@NugsSlugsBugs An age of a bridge ought not to determine a shutdown or collapse. Rather, we probably ought to look at better ways of TLC, also less use of corrosive materials in treating winter roadways. New Zealand's longest span, the Rakaia Bridge, has been around since 1930. The George Washington Bridge, in New York City, and the Newell River Bridge, are also excellent pieces of work to be inspired by, and they're toll bridges. I'm not too worried about North American infrastructure as long as we treat it like our Great Grandmother, with great respect and love, through ordinary care, with extraordinary grace.
