Exploring Shekhawat Rajasthan | Episode-1| Alsisar | Jhunjhunu | Alsisar Mahal | Ramgarh | Mahansar

Join me in my quest to explore offbeat and lesser known region of Rajasthan - Shekhawati Rajasthan. This is my first Episode where I am staying in Alsisar Mahal for first two days and after this moving to Mandawa for next two days. From here I am going to take you to different parts of Shekhawati Rajasthan.
In this Episode - 1 I will be exploring Alsisar, Ramgarh and Mahansar.
Shekhawati is a semi arid region situated in the northeast part of Rajasthan, India. This region was ruled by Shekhawat rajputs and comprises of Jhunjhunu, Sikar, churu, Nawalgarh, Mandawa etc. It is known for its stunning havelis adorned with intricate frescoes.
Shekkhawati, often referred to as the world's largest "Open art gallery". These Havelis were built by wealthy merchants, known as Marwaris, during the 18th and 19th century. The region's unique charm and artistic legacy make it a must- visit destination for history enthusiasts and art lover alike.
Alsisar - Alsisar is a charming village located in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, India. Renowned for its majestic Alsisar mahal, a grand palace-turned-hotel, the village offers a glimpse into the opulent history of the region. The village itself is dotted with narrow lanes, traditional havelis and vibrant markets.
Ramgarh - Founded by Poddar Family, it was considered as the richest towns in the 19th century. It is famous for its paintings, old temples, Cenotaphs and havelis. Ramgopal Chhatri and Poddar's Haveli are popular places to visit.
Mahansar - It is a village in Shekhawati Rajasthan and founded in 1768 by the Thakurs of one of the branch of Shekhawats. It is located at a distance of 40 kms from Jhunjhunu and is known for it's rich and heritage culture. Places not to be missed here are the Sone ki Dukan, Mahansar fort and Narayan Niwas Palace.
Rani Sati Temple - Rani Sati Temple ia a famous Hindu Temple located in Jhunjhunu District in Rajasthan. Dedicated to Rani Sati, a historic figure known for her devotion and sacrifice, the temple is visited by thousands every year. It's not just a place of worship but also an architectural and cultural landmark in Rajasthan.
Hotel I checked in - Alsisar Mahal. Price ranging from 8000 - 10,000 per night depending on the season. In winters prices can go high.

Ramgarh mein sirf chatri ke alawa bhi kaafi chize hai explore karne ki, shayad aapne intentionally miss ki h ya unintentionally pata nahi

Is that so ? Actually I got a guide from Alsisar Mahal and he showed me only this chatri and that too was closed. I could not see it from inside. Why would I miss seeing places intentionally!! 🙂

@@poonamhanda8164 1 Ganga mai mandir (It has 12 jyotirling) 2 Ramnarayan ruia haveli (RN RUIA College is on his name) He was a majestic personality, made so much of wealth and as traces of his wealth you can search the phoneix mill of mumbai 3 Natvar ji ka mandir (Marvelous architecture) Near this mandir you can shop handmade bangles made out of lac 4 Bihad land 5 Johdas 6 Sati mata mandir 7 Raavan dhora Too much to explore
