Exploring Skiathos, It's Beaches and Nearby Islands

2 weeks exploring, 3 boat trips, 2 days off roading and lots of drone flights and video. We went about a week after the Storm Daniel floods so cleaning up was still going on with roads and beaches damaged. 4K

Brilliant video. Just came back from there I didn't get to explore the north west but looks great from the video. Mandraki beach was the highlight beach for me 👌

Booked it through TUI at the resort, think it was €45 each plus €14 each if you wanted to do the bus transfer to the church. Steep steps up to the church but worth the climb. The church is very small and not the one used in the film, just the outside shots. Lots of ABBA music all cruise, had to cut most of it out for copyright reasons. You don’t see the pier that they all jumped off etc. it no longer exists and think that was filmed on the mainland. The pier where the 3 fathers meet is the main one in Skiathos town. We also did the island hopping cruise which went around the church but didn’t stop there. A boat trip to Lalaria beach is fantastic, can’t get there any other way.

@@NigelTraffordgreat review Nigel! 👍 Did that boat trip also stop at Lalaria Beach on the island of Skiathos too? Or there isn’t enough time to do Kastani Beach on Skopelos plus the optional Agios Ioannis Church visit if it stopped at Lalaria Beach? Thanks. Kastani Beach looks absolutely stunning! A must see for me.
