Really beautiful sounds and closing message. Very moving (the message and the library). Love your videos, Simeon.

I am so glad you enjoyed watching. I usually do not have a plan about these things as I am responding on the spot to what I am hearing and experiencing. Those moments trigger different things, and they come pouring out. Joyfully yours!

my GOD! THE SOUND THAT WAS ACHEIVED AFTER ADDING THE INSTANCES TO UNIFY was MIND BLOWING! I WAS ON THE FENCE ABOUT THIS LIBRARY UNTIL THAT!
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
Yes, UNIFY is such a powerful tool and I love it for just that purpose. Its ability to bring things together is second to none. Thanks so much for watching. Joyfully !🎹

Mordent note articulations - a library or ornaments. Pretty unique. Am reminded of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf composition.
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is a different approach using something like this but I imagine the purpose is to create these types of techniques that would otherwise be difficult to simulate with a traditional string collection. Oh, I am always a fan of Peter and The Wolf, what a great inspiration for me very early in my life. Thanks so much for watching my friend. Joyfully!🎹

My pleasure Austin, yes the color of this size string orchestra brings so much emotion to the table. It can be fragile, intimate and yet have a sense of space all at the same time. Thanks for watching.

Lovely play through as always Simeon. I had this in my basket and now I will buy it. Combining it the other SA strings especially Olafur‘s will be inspirational. All the best from Leverkusen regards Brian

This is one of the most beautiful libraries ever! Too bad I’m living paycheck to paycheck right now. One of the first things I’ll do once I get a software engineer job is purchase this library. Hopefully my luck turns for the better before December because I work in customer service and most of the time is outside.

thank you... quite helpful and beautiful library... what kind of faders are you using?
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
My pleasure. Along with my Studiologic SL88: Grand, I have been using the Studiologic MIXFACE, which is a MIDI fader and DAW controller that is highly customizable. I love the slightly longer faders as I had been using a KORG nanoKONTROL for the longest time. Thanks for watching and the kind support. Have a Joyful 2023!

What are you using for your dynamic slider? Just found you. Super helpful! Thank you.

Joe, it is my pleasure. I use the Studiologic MIXFACE as my fader and DAW controller and have the second fader assigned to CC1. My SL88:Grand has the controller joysticks but the fader is closer and more immediate at times. Thanks for watching along with your kind support. Joyfully!🎹

Are these set as MPE files?
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
Hello Wilhelm, these might be adaptable to some sort of MPE but they do not come that way out of the box. I am learning more about the approach and these are almost like musical LEGOs of sorts that carry with them specific techniques that you use to build various structures that can serve as the basis for layering with other instruments. It is really quite different than what we are used to seeing. I would love to see some other out in the wild examples of how others might be using this. Thanks so much for watching and I so much appreciate the support. Joyfully yours!

How many cats have been harmed in this session? Awkful tones. HZ Strings are much better.
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
Sams, yeah, it started out pretty rough as I was exploring a little and needed a little more context. Later on, in the playthrough, I did hit on some very nice tones. Thanks for watching.
