I wanted a 23 Accord EX last year as I was trading my 20 Fit EX with 8200 equity. In Texas, my insurance was going up 445.00 in my 6 months. A Civic was 440.00 more on insurance. The lowest increase was 235.00 on the 24 HRV EXL. I refused to pay almost 300 a month for insurance on the Accord. I got the 24 HRV EXL. My insurance is 229 a month. My payment is 342. I paid 29,000 MSRP and financed 20,500 for the HRV. I’m paying extra principal so in 10 months I’m down to 11,800. I’m glad I didn’t get the 1.5 turbo Accord as they have the oil dilution and blown head gasket issues. I’m glad I have the plain 4 cylinder engine. Accords and Civics are stolen a lot and expensive to repair.check the insurance before you buy a car. Some are less than others.

How can I increase the volume of the blind spot detection? With the AC and radio on, I can barely hear it. I adjusted something in the settings but it still seems low.

I wish there were ac vents at the rear at least for the passengers but it’s to keep the cost down and also why in the EX model there’s only a 7 inch infotainment screen.

Just bought this very same car, EX trim, interior and exterior color. I'm 73, and have tried many cars; I will not own anything but a Honda Accord. My only knock is Honda's decision not to offer the EX-L trim in there gas models. They're pushing their Hybrid's. Not good; It just about made me jump to their competitor, the Toyota Camry, but I just couldn't do it

Hey, I bought a Honda accord ex 2024. The manual shows I can fuel it up by 87 octane or higher but in the Honda website it says 91 or higher after September 2023. I am not confused on what gas to use! People on Reddit and other platforms are discussing that turbo engine with increase in compression ratio from 10:3 to 10:6 makes it demanding for premium fuel and is also a reason why people are facing head gasket issue with low grade fuel. I think most of the accord 2024 owners like me are confused on what to do. Well I don’t want to be the one paying 2800$ for head gasket fix and fuel up with premium gas now if it saves the gasket. Can you suggest something in this topic ?

Yes you have to use 91 minumum, and do oil changes every 3.5k miles. I saw couple of mechanics saying this because head gasket and oil dilution issue will break engine before reaching 100k miles

In my case, using only 91 octane for my 2024 EX has prevented fuel dilution in the oil which was a problem with previous similar Honda engines. I have had zero fuel dilution in the oil using 91 octane.

Those are NOT “19” inch alloy wheels 🤦🏻♀️ They are 17 inch.

I'm really let down by the appearance of the new Accord 2024. It appears bulky, less attractive, and lacks the sleek style of the 2021 model. I was anticipating something even more impressive this year, but instead, it seems like they've opted for a bulky, unappealing design reminiscent of a cheap plastic soap holder with a heavy price tag. I am extremely disappointed...!
