Exploring The 747 Hotel on Google Earth

The Jumbo Stay Hostel in Stockholm, Sweden is defenitly more than just a hotel! It's an old 747 that was completley refurbished into a running hostel. All the heritage 747 photos are actually of the hotel itself during its flying career, it started with Singapore Airlines before joining the iconic Pan-Am clipper fleet as ‘Clipper Belle of the Sky’ and when that airline went bust in 1991 it went to several other owners before becoming the Jumbo Stay in 2008.

It's a feat of engineering, to see the plane not just lifting off right at the first storm, it's not like they can just use heavy IKEA furniture to hold it in place

I’m a swede and I go to Arlanda a lot for plane spotting etc and I always see the 747 hotel on the way. It’s always fun to see considering the fact that the 747 is being retired

As a person who lived in Sweden, (i moved 1 month ago). I really wanted to go there, because, when I was going to the airport for vacation, I saw the airplane. So I really wanted to go there. I recommend you go to Stockholm and stay in the 747 Hotel.
