A floating island made from stainless steel and a 'celestial trumpet' calling to the skies - only one place could provide such an unlikely home for these major sculpture collections, and that place is 'The Farm'.
"As far as I'm concerned there isn't any other art than minimalist art". There are almost two dozen works of art nestling around 'The Farm', all owned by hard-line businessman Gibbs. "It's the ability to make something with so much statement with so little. And that's basically the art we have here". Twenty years on and Gibbs has become New Zealand's most generous political donor, using his wealth and artistic influence to promote his conservative views.
