I didn't get to see half of the places I wanted to while stationed at Spangdahlem, but I got to see Trier many times. It has to be one of the greatest cities in the world. Thank you for filming it.

I was in the hospital in Trier in 1999 for over a month for 2 back surgeries. We loved going to to Trier to explore. Such a beautiful place.

I was there in 1974 when stationed at Spangdahlem AB. Drove there late that day and ate at a restaurant down town and then some local Guest houses. It was a greta evening with my friends.

We were fortunate to have lived near this gem. Great restaurants, superb history, decent shopping, oh my wife and I were married in Trier (1978) and fond (?sometimes?) memories of the scores of "study trips" we took students on to Trier and its surroundings. A must stop for the critically thinking traveler!
