There's no ASANTE Kente...

I feel If machines were to take over kente weaving in Ghana, it would bring a mix of positive and negative outcomes, deeply affecting the cultural, economic, and social fabric tied to this cherished tradition. I feel there would be a Loss of Cultural Significance, Unemployment for Weavers, Devaluation of Authenticity, Dilution of Tradition, Environmental Impact. Kente is not just fabric; it’s a legacy. Ghana would need to handle such a transition with care to ensure its cultural soul isn't lost to automation. What are your thoughts on the balance between tradition and innovation?
