Hey just fyi, if you're having the issue of accidentally pressing the camera control button you can change it require a double press in settings

I don´t like cases without camera control button, for me it feels wrong in the hand with the cut. Every time i grab the phone and feel the cut :(. I use the apple silicon case (the first time at all) without issue, changed the camera control button to double "click" -- no issues at all. Currently for me, the apple silicon case is the "best" combination regarding weight, thickness, camera control button and protection and the pinkie finger is safe too :)

I have the BANDWERK brown Sport Leather case, and it looks great. However, after just one month of use, the brown color has started to wear off. So it appears that they don’t actually use brown leather for the case, they merely use some cheap color-bonding process for the “”leather””. The case being $60+ makes it a terrible recommendation in my opinion.

The fine woven was the best vegan case I ever had. Why the hate WTF, it was awesome, I travelled a lot with it and it still is as new. Silicone is a childs toy which is dirty after a few days and pretty unusable after 4 weeks.

Same here. I got the fine woven for my 15 just to try it out and really liked it. Don't know what all the hate is about, but clearly those of us who liked it are in the minority.

Excellent video! I don’t watch tech stuff often but the editing was really good and the points made were great. If I may add I do wish reviewers and tech channels included stuff for tradesmen in mind. I just got the iPhone 16 pro after accidentally puncturing my camera on a job site. Been trying to find a reviews on more durable cases. I will say tho that I will be getting the second case with the finger loop for when I’m at home. Appreciate the video and the work you put into it. Hope your channel continues to grow (:

How did you find the silicone case in terms of ease taking in and out of pocket, picking up lint etc? This has been an issue with the Apple Silicone cases in the past but I've now seen a few reviews saying it's much better this year. Just about to upgrade from my 11 Pro to the 16 Pro and I've got used to the Apple leather case which they unfortunately no longer sell. The cutouts for the camera button on more or less every third party leather case make them a no go.

It’s basically the same thing. Picks up lint from my pocket like crazy. Also clings onto it 😭

I got a case with a cut out and my screen protector cracked right near where the cut out was even though it hadn’t been dropped in between the last time I saw the screen protector in tack and when I noticed the crack

The Apple Silicon case has a weight of 35g. And in my opinion, every gram counts when it comes to the 16 Pro Max. Apple did a lot to make the phone less heavy than the 14 Pro Max. Nearly all other cases have a weight of 40g or much more and you can feel this in your hand! BTW I see this always on KZbin. Does MagSafe charge faster when you shake it? 😊

I honestly don’t have too much opinion on it since I haven’t used it, but based off of feel it seems like it would be a good one to protect the phone. I personally use a cheap Spigen one, so that’s my standard haha

I haven’t broken one of my phones in their cases, so I’d say so! I’d say the pro version protects the phone better since it’s full coverage minus the camera control button 👍🏼

It doesn’t. There is no lip if you use a glass screen and the bottom is uneven. They are currently fixing the issues with an updated version addressing the issues should be shipping early November.

You can honestly not go wrong with either pick. It depends on what color ways you like and Pitaka is a little more expensive than Benks, but they both feel the same in terms of quality. Up to you!

The Pitaka has slightly more refined fit and finish. The Benks is slightly deeper and has a subtle lip above a thin screen protector (Belkin UG2, ESR Armorite ~.3mm). The Pitaka has zero lip. Very similar but subtle trade-offs…
