Exploring the Billy Graham Library - Charlotte, North Carolina

As we post this video, it is Good Friday 2024. This weekend, Christians around the world will celebrate the resurrection on Easter Sunday. Perhaps no one in our lifetime has done more to spread the good news of Easter than the Reverend Billy Graham. In this video, we visit the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina. We learned about his life, toured his childhood home and even saw the gravesite where Billy and his beloved wife Ruth are laid to rest. Join us as we share the highlights of this experience with you. Loved this Easter episode guys. Billy Graham was amazing, a real inspiration and we were actually just listening to him online a few months ago. Love Bessie, and the story of Billy's life, that's a great thing to be able to go into his crusade tent. It must have been hard for Ruth with Billy being away so much but she accepted the call of God on his life. So good to see his podium that he preached from and his house, and interesting to see where he was buried alongside Ruth and what he had on his tombstone. What she had on hers was interesting too. That was so good to see at this special time of year for us as Christians and very thought provoking and moving. Have a blessed Easter 🙏✝️ ~ Anna 👍

I'm watching this a second time, as I got distracted before I could comment yesterday. I know very little about Billy Graham, so this is all new for me, though growing up in Charlotte, I'm very familiar with the name and who he was. I thought it was interesting to see how a lineage of influence led to him being who he is and what he brought to the world. I love tracing the lineage of influence of bands and musicians I appreciate him being on the right side of history during the Civil Rights movements. I also found it admirable that he had the humility to be buried in a $200 casket built by prisoners. That spoke volumes to me and came across as very genuine, as he wasn't consumed by materialism like many other high profile people. This video really put into perspective how he really walked the walk and taught not only through his work, but also example. Thanks for sharing this very informative video!

My Grandma's 1st husband who she had 2 children with was cousins with Billy Graham, her last name was Graham for awhile! Love the animatronic Cow!

I would love to travel to North Carolina some day! Happy belated Easter to you both. I had never heard of Billy Graham before, but love hearing the history and with Bessie the Cow! Such a cute introduction. The radio show set is really cool! Really neat exhibits here. I love the cross on the barn. Wow, very interesting to hear about the casket. Nice that it's free to visit and a nice gift shop. Cool that the shelves above are Billy Graham's personal library! The house is lovely to see inside too. Amazing tour as always :)
