Really enjoying watching the series from here in the Uk. I've been motorcycling for 50 years and own 7 bikes, not done anything as radical as you do, even though I sometimes scream at the screen things like "Get off and push whilst using the engine" like when you were stuck on that rocky climb in the mountains I have no real right to. You are getting more confident and the content is improving. Keep up the good work and put more security on that number plate will you! More tie wraps or bolts....😊

Very interesting! I first drove the Alaskan Highway in 1976 when it was 80% gravel. I drove from KY in a 1973 VW Beetle. I went through one blown engine (in Ontario) 6-7 flat tires, one broken windshield and 1 broken throttle cable (all three items in AK). All in all, these mishaps gave the trip a lot of character (almost too much character, LOL). Please do not be shy about asking viewers to hit the like and subscribe buttons. You can say that "it helps the channel grow". I am sure viewers will understand and be happy to help you.

I love historic towns and, if it's old enough, abandoned spaces. Thanks for the info about the history of the Alaska Highway. I haven't ridden this part of it (yet). I really loved learning about how much more there used to be along the road, and that's now abandoned. It's the same in Eastern Oregon, especially near the junctions near borders with Nevada or Idaho. But I think in a lot of cases, it's not that they didn't get enough business, there's just not many families that want that life anymore. It's a hard life in such a remote area, with such extreme weather. Really enjoying your videos. Not sure where you are now, but Silver City, Idaho is not to be missed on your way back through North America. You'd enjoy Garnet, Montana too (perhaps as an alternative).

Thanks Eric for the informative and entertaining video. One of my dad 's most interesting stories was of his family taking the journey on the Alaskan highway before it was paved in the early '50s. You had to have $500 cash, spare tires, gas cans and water to even be allowed onto the highway at that time. Great to see some of the historical landmarks still there.

History and lost places are always interesting and sometimes you have to deal with them in order to learn from them. What I don't think is right is that there is environmentally harmful material from the recent past lying around in nature and no one feels responsible for cleaning it up. This planet is too precious to ignore. It's nice that you show it and maybe draw attention to it. Have a good trip

Loving this channel. Nice mix of story telling the cinematic experience. Well done. I also use the uswe hydro pack. If you route the hose out of the backpack and through the opening at the top of the left shoulder opening, through the loops and down the left side strap, you wont have to cross-over the front and you can still use the retainer clip. Safe travels Eric.
