Make hot chocolate out of the Lindt truffles you can still taste. The local factory store here in New Hampshire, makes hot chocolate by heating up milk (cream) and dropping in 1-3 of the truffles, stirring until melted.

Cleaning off barnacles off the boat was cool to watch. Winter prep never seems to be done! Glad you got both engines going and cleaned out of salt water. Winterizing a boat takes a lot! A dog that appreciates art! At least for awhile! Skye is beautiful! So nice to see Richard again. It’s lovely to see all the support the islanders do for the Isle of Skye. It’s good this charity is pushing for improvements and new ways of highlighting Skye. I always learn so much from your vlogs! Truly lovely exhibit, many talented people live on Skye. Her work is stunning. Community organizing at its finest!!😊

I’m always amazed how practical you both are. I’ve left comments with other people’s comments, like Chili chocolate for Willie’s taste buds. The art exhibit was great. Sarah will be there soon I expect. Your artwork is so full of depth. The grass waving in the forest, and Jack’s tail being the source is a subtle bit of humour. Richard has been such a mentor for you Willie I almost expected him to invite you onto the board of directors. You do enough bye filming Living The Skye Life. Thank you.

Seeing Richard was a fun surprise - we should have guessed he would be involved, given that he knows so much about boats and seems involved in the local community. It feels like 9 times out of 10, Richard is the one to help you solve any problems you might have. The barnacle cleaning was great. Trust Willie to be well-prepared! All the artwork looked gorgeous. There was a beautiful autumn colours landscape that caught my eye. Shame I have neither the money nor the wall-space for it. My condolences to Willie for his inability to taste chocolate. That's just depressing, but at least you managed to keep Lindor (my favourites). Fingers crossed the rest of your chocolate tasting ability will come back in time.

I was wondering how your beautiful cottage fared during Babet, I hope you didn't suffer any damage. I guess the East coast suffered more, but here in N Ireland we weren't hit as badly as we were expecting. I live in County Down, the more Northerly counties were affected far more, there was flooding and gale force winds, we only had a rather stiff breeze. It was nice seeing Richard speak more. Wishing you all well as the colder weather seems to have finally arrived..be warm and stay snug.

Richard was kind to provide so much information. Especially like the suggestion for photos. Would be lovely for visitors to see the seasons. Really thankful the storm didn't do significant damage there. It's blasting Whitby today with high swells and winds. Just amazing how one storm could plough through so many countries and just not let up. Stay warm and safe.🍂

Even tho Ive commented already I want you 2 to know how much I admire your love to help beautiful SMART wild elephants. I hope all elephants could be FREE. Years ago a circus would come to the BIG field Very Very near our neighborhood and set up. Our home was 3 houses from the big field. Any near houses were invited to be there when they came in and were setting up. Very cool and special getting to see many marvelous animals up very close. When I was super near 1 elephant I asked the circus care taker who was standing by me if I could go home and get him an apple and a carrot. He said he wished I could but the owners didnt let any1 else feed the animals. He said I could talk to him tho. I decided to sing to him instead. When I started singing he started dancing and swaying. Needless to say it DELIGHTED me and the trainer. He said the elephant loved the music at night at the circus so must love that I sung to him. Mr elephant ( wished I d asked his name but didnt think to) came very close to me and dug the dirt and mud and rolled it into a ball and ate it. I asked the caretaker why he did that and he explained he got minerals and maybe some vitamins that way. Mr Elephant taught me something that day. A beautiful moment and memory. I would have kept my boys out of school that day if I d known what would happen. I was blessed to get to go for 2 more years and to the night circus before they went other places. But just for the 3 of us, the elephant gave me such a special gift.

The best thing for the smaller engine is to start it and run it every two or three times you use the boat. It is there to use in case of the main engine failing, and trust me that only happens in the worst situations. You need to know that the back up will star easily and run to get you out of trouble. Really love your videos, you seem to be living the life I would love.

Dear LTSL couple. 👍👌👏 I definitely like the mixed content. 2) That's interesting. Jack Spaniels is the first dog I know that doesn't jump in a car right away because expecting an exiting ride. 3) Hope you're able to smell/taste chocolate again soon. Although when not eating/drinking chocolate, a lot of calories can be spared (for other tasty things of course). 😁 ;-) As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved life forms (humans, animals and plants).

Thanks! Don’t worry - Jack is very keen to get in the car when we are leaving on an adventure…less so when he knows the adventure is finished and we are going home 😅

@@livingtheskyelife Thanks for replying and especially for giving a heart to my comment. I always and totally appreciate both very much. 2) I didn't worry, I only wondered. But now I understand, thanks for the explanation. It's like pets always seem to know when the trip goes to the vet. Isn't it? 😁 ;-) Sincerely yours.

Nice Kort nozzle! You'll find flushing easier with outboard muffs that connect straight to the hose. Then you can run longer before all the water gets pushed out of the barrel!! Great to support local artists (and musicians!) Mum retired to the Highlands from Clacky and has continued to paint up there. House down here in England is full of original art as a result! Stops you getting too homesick. Great stuff!

Another glorious slice of Skye Life on a Sunday evening. I have actually been to that gallery many many years ago when there were sculptures on display and it is a glorious part of the island. Good to see Richard...or should that be Mr Director!!🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟 Favourite art well thats a toughy but check out my old 4th Royal Tank Regiment pal at Mick Graham art who does fabulous military art.

Just some advice from an old Canadian . If it freezes there, keep outboard in the down position to drain any residual moisture .Plus in the fall it is a good time to change lower gear box lubricant , checking for moisture and signs of metal wear.
